We Got Into Pueblo Film Festival & LLAMAS Conference!

The Road To Eternity was created by Ruby Sweeney-Spitzeck and AJ Gunn, as a final project for Professor Dadgar’s documentary class, The film follows the making of her feature film, Eternity Road. What began as a class assignment became something far beyond the classroom, and it’s an incredible opportunity that their work has been selected for multiple festivals and conferences

The LLAMAS (Languages, Literature and Mass Communication Symposium) conference aims to help undergraduate students to gain professional and academic experience, develop their intellectual confidence, and deepen their learning by being exposed to a diverse collection of others’ work.

Meet The Crew

Sherry

Shahrzad “Sherry” Dadgar is an award-winning director, writer, and photographer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning Engineering and an MFA in Feature Film Production from the University of Central Florida (UCF). She has earned international recognition for her work, having written and directed two short films, 500 Ounces of Gold and Highlight, both of which received multiple awards at film festivals worldwide. She is currently in post-production on her debut feature film, Eternity Road.

Shahrzad is deeply committed to the transformative power of storytelling as a means to spark meaningful dialogue, challenge societal perceptions, and educate audiences on issues related to gender equality, racial and sexual stereotypes, and underrepresented communities.

In addition to her creative work, Shahrzad is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Media and Entertainment and a student advisor at Colorado State University Pueblo, where she mentors and inspires the next generation of storytellers.

Ruby

A multimedia story teller from Melbourne, Australia, Ruby Sweeney-Spitzeck is driven and adventurous towards her craft.

It was during her time at Colorado State University Pueblo where she really fell in love with videography and gained her bachelor’s degree in media production. Specializing in short form video content for businesses and the community she enjoys getting to meet new people every day.

A jack of all trades, Ruby loves to explore new ideas and opportunities her clients have in mind. There is not much she wouldn’t do to get that perfect shot.

AJ

Raised in Indiana, found my home in Colorado and these days, you'll usually find me behind a controller, watching a story unfold from a few hundred feet up.


I'm FAA Part 107 certified and genuinely passionate about capturing perspectives most people never get to see.


Sixteen years on the wrestling mat shaped how I work: preparation matters, every detail matters, and you never cut corners. I bring that same discipline to every project paired with a creative eye that's always sharpening.


I've never been afraid of starting over or betting on myself.
