Meet the person behind it all

Shahrzad “Sherry” Dadgar is an award-winning director, writer, and photographer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning Engineering and an MFA in Feature Film Production from the University of Central Florida (UCF). She has earned international recognition for her work, having written and directed two short films, 500 Ounces of Gold and Highlight, both of which received multiple awards at film festivals worldwide. She is currently in post-production on her debut feature film, Eternity Road.

Shahrzad is deeply committed to the transformative power of storytelling as a means to spark meaningful dialogue, challenge societal perceptions, and educate audiences on issues related to gender equality, racial and sexual stereotypes, and underrepresented communities.

In addition to her creative work, Shahrzad is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Media and Entertainment and a student advisor at Colorado State University Pueblo, where she mentors and inspires the next generation of storytellers.


Eternity Road’s Crew

Shahrzad Sherry Dadgar (Director/Writer/Producer) is an award-winning director/writer/photographer. She has written and directed two short films, 500 Ounces of Gold and Highlight, which have been honored with multiple awards at worldwide festivals. In 2016, she received the coveted Golden Gazzale from the Persian International Film Festival in Australia and the "Best Script" award from the Cervaignano Film Festival in Italy. She received the "Best Inspirational Women in Film" award from the Festigious Film Festival of Los Angeles. For over a decade, Shahrzad worked as a freelance assistant director and script supervisor in the motion picture industry.

Sarah Tice (Director of Photography) works on various films, music videos, and commercial work in the Orlando, FL area and beyond. She has worked on over 45 short films as a cinematographer and has worked as a production designer on several short and feature films. Sarah's rhythmic shooting and writing styles have inspired the next part of her journey, as she is completing her Masters in Fine Arts for Film Production at the University of Central Florida as she works as a Teaching Assistant to Undergraduate courses in the Film Program.

Michelle Hung (Unit Production Manager) is a producer, filmmaker, and Film BFA graduate from the University of Central Florida. She is interested in diversifying and elevating underrepresented communities in the film industry.

Gabriela Gonzalez (1st Assistant Director) is a photographer, videographer, and Film BA Student at the University of Central Florida. She is interested in color theory, the aesthetics of cinematography and composition, and diversifying the female presence in the film industry.

Ren Perez (2nd Assistant Director) is a Film Production student at Valencia. They are interested in visualizing the stories and lives of the LGBTQ+ community as well as voicing the struggles of immigrant families in America.

Ben Burrell (co-writer) is an Orlando-based filmmaker interested in creating character-driven films that celebrate the perspective of the outsider.

Sadra Tehrani (Production Designer) is an Iranian-born Set and Production Designer based in New York City. He's intrigued by stories that explore concepts of home, alienation, and the uncanny. Graduated with a Master's degree in Architecture from Penn State University, Sadra is currently pursuing an MFA in Production Design at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. His past design and film work has been featured in the New York Times, TimeOut NY among other publications, and awarded in various national and international festivals.

Carol Merengwa (Production Designer) is a Film BFA student at the University of Central Florida who is interested in the creative process from script to screen and whose goal is to create immersive stories that bring light to the viewer’s day while also challenging the mind and heart.

Elsa Coussy (Designer) is a disabled graphic designer and creative director from France. Elsa is passionate about encapsulating her view of the world in projects she works on (she believes cinema has the ability to be an “all-embracing art form” (also known as the concept of Gesamtkunstwerk)). She has a graphic studio and works to empower the voices of her communities (LGBTQ+, Jews, Autistics) to spread awareness about inclusion, disability rights, and the beauty of tajines.

Mars Ackerman (Makeup Artist) is a film student at UCF. She’s interested in bringing a wider variety of aesthetics into the film industry and promoting unique cinematography and production design.

Houston Brown (Actor) is an Atlanta-based actor. He is interested in bringing life to stories that challenge peoples’ beliefs and critique cultural transgressions, and hopefully, make people laugh.

Gabriella Montuoro (Actress) received her Bachelors in Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Central Florida this past spring. She has been in several theatre productions with Theatre UCF, including one of her favorite roles, “#2” in The Wolves. She has worked on several UCF and Full Sail films and continues to work in the Orlando area. This upcoming summer she is attending the Midsummer in Oxford program to study Shakespeare and contemporary acting.

Audra Torres (Actress) has spent much of her life exploring and creating art. After earning her B.F.A. from the University of Central Florida, she spent 2 years continuing her studio art studies at residencies in the southern U.S. Curiosity and creative drive have since led her to Truthful Acting Studios and acting in film and theater.

Giuseppe Michael Pipicella (Actor) is an MFA acting student at the University of Central Florida embarking on an internship at Orlando Shakes. He has appeared on the UCF MainStage in Paula Vogel’s Indecent and John Davidson’s Scaramouch in Naxos. A graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Giuseppe has lived and acted in Italy, England, and the US, before accepting the spot at UCF. Past favorite credits include Doctor Faustus, Hedda Gabler, Diana of Dobson’s, and Much Ado About Nothing.

Yasamin Rezaei (actress) studies Performance and Literary studies at the University of Miami. She is an Iranian theatre actress from Tehran, where she worked with various theatre directors and performance artists. She is trained in Lecoq method by Dominique Dupoux Vaudeville at l’école de théâtre POINT FIXE. She is the director of “Pho Gram” (written by Diego Pfeiffer) in the 24-hour play festival in Miami. She often teaches theatre and movement workshops in French, Italian, and English at the University of Miami, whereas as a researcher, her work centers around digital performance, theatre, and social media.

Kionna Johnson (Grip) She's a Junior at UCF and my major is film. She picked film because she got the chance to take a film class in high school and really enjoyed it. So, She thought why not make it a career.

Hayley Cox (Production Assistant) is a student in the Film Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the University of Central Florida. She is interested in creating films that represent a little bit of everybody and furthering the involvement of women in film.
